Rhonda Bartlett

I began my artist journey in 2012 by enrolling in an adult workshop at our local art gallery. After only a couple of lessons, I was hooked. I can’t imagine my life without my new found love of painting.

I was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle. My mother was an artist and although she passed many years ago, she inspires me daily. Just as her paintings did, most of my paintings reflect the love of our western heritage.

Oil is my medium of choice. It allows me to paint with great detail. The best part of the painting process to me is capturing the expression of the creature that I have chosen to paint. My ultimate goal is to inspire emotion or tell a story. I am primarily self-taught but have been blessed with guidance and encouragement from many talented artists.

My home is Canadian, Texas. I am a banker, wife, mother and grandmother. I am honored to add Artist to my list of accomplishments. You may contact me at ronda@bartlettlumber.com with questions or comments.
